Warranty Policy

Thank you for purchasing from Y&D Trading House! We are committed to providing high-quality products and stand behind our products with a clear and transparent warranty policy. Please review the details below for information on how our warranty works.

Warranty Terms

Y&D Trading House is responsible for processing 'Manufacturer Warranty' claims for up to 1 – 36 months (warranty period) from the date of purchase, under the following terms and conditions:

  • The warranty is only processed with the original proof of purchase and receipt.
  • The warranty covers reasonable domestic use only and does not apply to commercial vehicle use.
  • The warranty applies to manufacturing defects during normal usage within the warranty period.

If you meet the warranty terms and conditions, you will be entitled to a replacement. If the original product is no longer available, we will provide a product of the same or similar model/colour. Our company has sole discretion to determine manufacturer defects.

Our Warranty Does Not Apply to:

Except as required by law (including Australian Consumer Law), this warranty will not apply to the following:

  • Normal wear and tear, deterioration, water or fire damage, the life of the products, trims, face material, scratches, fittings, loss, or theft.
  • Damage from exposure to water or fire.
  • Any damage resulting from abnormal use, negligence, accidental damage (knocks, drops, dents, etc.), or incorrect usage of the products.
  • Damage caused by unauthorized persons (e.g., resurfacing, repairs, alterations, or modifications beyond our control).
  • Use for purposes other than intended, failure to follow care instructions.
  • Products that have not been installed, maintained, or used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Damage caused by deliberate or negligent misuse, abuse, physical alterations, liquid spillage, incorrect voltage, power surges, force majeure, tampering, or unauthorized repairs.
  • Damage from third-party software or hardware not provided by us.
  • Products that are lost or stolen.
  • Claims without proof of purchase.

Requirements for Warranty Claims

To make a warranty claim, please follow the steps below and email your claim to info@ydtradinghouse.com. You will need to provide:

  • Details of the defect or damage you're claiming under warranty.
  • Photographic evidence of the defect or damage (if applicable).
  • Your invoice (including order number) and any other proof of purchase.
  • Any other details that may assist us in processing your claim.

Warranty Conditions

When making a warranty claim, please comply with all return instructions provided via your registered email address. Returns that have not been authorized through the outlined process will not be accepted.

If any returned goods are found to be in good working order, we may seek reimbursement for any costs incurred by us in relation to such goods. In such cases, you agree that we may hold your goods until payment is received.

Except as required by law (including Australian Consumer Law), our liability under this warranty shall not exceed the amount of the purchase price of the goods or the replacement of the goods with the same or a similar product.

If your warranty claim is approved, we will provide instructions on how to return the goods. Unless otherwise provided by law, you will bear the cost of returning the goods to us.

Note: Please ensure all necessary documentation is provided to expedite the processing of your warranty claim. Failure to do so may delay the process.
